Salary: £22,000 – £26,000 depending on experience (apprenticeship route also available) · Start date: April 2026
The Short Version
Seven Yays makes gift boxes that people genuinely love. We're a small team, we're growing fast, and we need someone who can keep our marketing engine running while a key team member is on maternity leave. You'll write emails, create content, film and edit short videos, keep the website ticking over, and use AI tools that most companies haven't even heard of yet.
If you're the kind of person who's equally comfortable writing a blog post, tweaking an email template, and filming a 30-second reel — keep reading.
About Seven Yays
Seven Yays is a gifting brand with a simple idea: instead of one gift, you get seven. Each box contains individually wrapped, numbered gifts designed to make someone's birthday, Mother's Day, or any occasion last an entire week. Our customers rate us 4.92 out of 5, and most of our recipients end up buying a box for someone else.
We're part of the Aurion Group, based in Liverpool. We're a small team — currently four people focused on Seven Yays — and we're in the middle of a brand refresh and growth push. This is year two. Year one was foundations. Year two, we pay our own way.
What You'll Actually Do
This is a hands-on role. No two weeks will look identical, but here's roughly how your time will break down:
Content & Email Marketing (~40%)
- ·Write, source images for, and upload 2 blog posts per week for the Seven Yays website
- ·Create and send 3 email campaigns per week through Klaviyo — our primary revenue channel
- ·Build and maintain email templates that look good and convert well
- ·Update email automations (discount codes, expiry dates, seasonal flows)
- ·Use AI tools (Claude) to draft content, then edit it to match our brand voice
Social Media & Video (~25%)
- ·Film and edit short-form video for Instagram and TikTok — you won't be on camera, but you'll be behind it
- ·Work from scripts generated by our AI content system (we'll train you on this)
- ·Manage our social media accounts — posting, engaging, keeping things consistent
- ·Edit podcast episodes for our sister brand (Vegetology)
Website & Admin (~20%)
- ·Swap out featured products, create landing pages for upcoming occasions (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas)
- ·Handle site redirects and general website housekeeping
- ·Respond to customer reviews on Reviews.io
- ·Keep our AI systems updated when the brand evolves (yes, we'll teach you how)
- ·Help with occasional admin bits — helping plan team events, keeping things organised
Brand & Design Support (~15%)
- ·Create graphics for emails, social posts, and the website — you need an eye for what looks good
- ·Support our brand refresh (we're moving from “novelty” to “premium”), working alongside our designer
- ·Help plan and execute campaigns around key gifting occasions
- ·Attend our fortnightly marketing meeting and own your action items
What We're Looking For
You'll need:
- ·Email marketing experience — Klaviyo is ideal, but if you've used Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar, you'll pick it up
- ·Strong written English — you'll be writing in our brand voice across blogs, emails, and social
- ·An eye for design — you don't need to be a graphic designer, but you need to know when something looks right (and when it doesn't)
- ·Video skills — comfortable filming short-form content on a phone or camera, and editing it for social
- ·Computer literacy — you'll be learning new tools regularly; we need someone who's not fazed by that
- ·Social media fluency — you use Instagram and TikTok, you understand what works, and you can spot a trend
- ·Self-motivation — we're a small team. There's no one hovering over your shoulder. You need to get on with it.
- ·Organisation — multiple deadlines, a content calendar, and several platforms to manage simultaneously
Bonus points for:
- ·Experience with AI content tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar)
- ·Any e-commerce experience (Shopify, Craft, WooCommerce — any platform)
- ·Basic SEO knowledge
- ·Podcast editing experience
- ·Design tool skills (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
We're not asking for a degree. We care about what you can do, not where you studied.
What Makes This Role Different
We'll be honest: this isn't a typical marketing coordinator job. We use AI tools that most companies won't adopt for another two years. You'll be working with systems that analyse competitor content, generate scripts, draft emails, and write product descriptions — all tuned to our brand.
That doesn't mean you just press a button. It means you spend less time staring at a blank page and more time on the work that actually matters: making things look good, making decisions about what to post and when, filming content, building relationships with our audience, and keeping our email — which drives over half our revenue — sharp.
If you're curious about AI and want to learn how it's actually used in a real business (not just the hype), this is a good place to be.
The Practical Stuff
- ·Salary: £22,000 – £26,000 depending on experience (apprenticeship route also available)
- ·Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
- ·Location: Our Liverpool office (this isn't a remote role — you'll be working alongside the team)
- ·Start date: As soon as possible — ideally April 2026
